ONLINE FUNCTIONAL RANGE CONDITIONING SESSIONS
Designed to compliment longer form face to face classes.
I am always encouraging clients to consider a small morning practice as a great way to promote steady and easy ongoing change in our bodies because: more movement = happier body (joints, muscles, organs, blood flow, nervous system all happier).
I thought this would be a great way to achieve a few aims:
1. help to build the daily habit
2. a nice way to have accountability in doing the work
3. having the support of a class format which is varied and fun
About FRC (Functional Range Conditioning) sessions:
This is a technique that focuses in on all things joint health.
Restores joint function, in part by strengthening and conditioning the joint capsule.
Expands ranges of motion, building up strength and control, making it ‘usable’ ROM.
Challenges end range, pushing for greater access in the tough spots.
Improves body control, encouraging you to experience and learn how to create isolation in individual joints and larger body movements.
Increase movement capacity, with gradual steps and progressive challenge.
The sessions will introduce different ways of approaching joint release, movement and strengthening through standing, sitting, lying down, kneeling, all fours… all the usual suspects. The short sessions will highlight different joints in each session slowly working throughout the body and giving you a really great mixture of ideas and techniques to put our movement toolkit.
Some of the mindful, nervous system awareness and breathing awareness techniques from yoga will be drawn in to complement this often quite challenging approach to moving our bodies.
Class Options & Price
This Month :: $7 per class = $21 for the 3 weeks. Class Duration: 20 mins
Saturday: 9.05 - 9.25am
To secure your spot fees are due upon registration. Please let us know if you require a receipt for health fund rebates.
If you prefer bank transfer payments get in contact and we will organise it for you.
Please Note: All classes are to be attended within the term or forfeited. Fees are transferable to another person within the term but are non-refundable. Please get in contact if you intend to transfer classes to another person.
