Michelle is one of the most gifted yoga teachers I've had in more than 15 years of yoga classes. Not only does she effortlessly create a setting where – in just 45 minutes – I'm able to leave behind whatever I was absorbed with in my work and properly focus on my body or my breath or not thinking, but she teaches with joy and humour and her classes are always evolving. I've been organising the bookings for our office classes for years now and part of my reward in doing this is having the other students tell me how much they love her teaching and can't wait for each week's class.

I have been attending yoga classes with At Work Yoga for over two years. I love going to my 1.30 pm class each Tuesday and learning more about how to move my body with each exercise, and especially remembering to breathe properly. Michelle is a wonderful teacher and is so unbelievably flexible. She explains each exercise so concisely and makes it very clear so I feel I am doing it properly. If I happen to have a leg bending out more than it should or an arm that is not straight, Michelle gently corrects my position and I must say that it feels so much better. I have been doing yoga twice a week at lunch times with Sandie and Jasmine for over a year and the overall benefits of this practice are indescribable. Being an office worker, before doing regular yoga with At Work at Yoga I was seeing the Osteopath weekly for 6 months due to the discomfort in my neck,shoulders and back. I now see my Osteo maximum once a month as yoga has helped with my posture and body awareness. I also do regular exercise and I have found that yoga has not only helped with my flexibility, but through concentrating and regulating my breathing it assists with pushing through a difficult pose, PT exercise or any stressful situation. I have a regular time blocked in my calendar for yoga each week as I know that it doesn't matter how busy I am- if I can make time for yoga then afterwards I will feel more grounded and centred and in turn be more productive and less stressed when returning to my desk. Classes being held in our building is so convenient, caters for all levels, and both teachers are FANTASTIC. I highly recommend At Work At Yoga!

I have been doing various styles of yoga regularly for the past 11 years including Ashtanga, Iyengar, Hatha and Flow. I’ve been coming to AWY for just over three years and have had two instructors during that time. I find it challenging to get to an exercise class at lunchtime and I’ve found the service that AWY gives you is fantastic. The instructors are friendly and flexible of mind as well as body. It doesn’t matter if you are a couple of minutes late or have to leave a few minutes early: they are very accommodating. They cater for all levels and make participants feel welcome and good about themselves. I love the energy and the head clearing that yoga gives me. Hugh, my current teacher, asks us to find gratitude and I find myself smiling and infused with warmth. It is a great way to re-energise, flex and strengthen. I always get something positive out of each class and have been regularly recommending it to others – some of whom have subsequently joined.
